Imphal, November 28 2024:
Sustaining the boycott call against union home minister Amit Shah, the Coordinating Committee on Manipur Integrity (COCOMI) enforced its two-day shutdown of both state and central government offices on Thursday.
The Committee launched the office shutdown agitation to denounce alleged hesitancy of the government to take firm actions in the Jiribam massacre case and repeal of the AFSPA-1958 from the state within seven days.
On the second day of the agitation Thursday, volunteers of COCOMI enforced shut down of Forest, BSSL, Employment Exchange, Sericulture, Horticulture and Block offices, in addition to Excise office, Post office, ADC and Forest offices in Sekmai.
