LSA condoles demise of former LSA president

The Liangmei Sports Association (LSA) deeply condole the untimely demise of its former president Alax Thiumai who succumbed to diabetes on July 26 at Little Clinic, Nagaram in the State capital.
Born in 1965 at Makhen (Makhan) village, Alax Thiumai was not only a friend and a good human being but also a tireless and inspiring leader and an epitome of a true dedicated leader who served as the president of Liangmei Sports Association for the tenure 2003-2005 after serving as vice president in 2002-2003, said LSA in a statement.
It was under his able leadership that the LSA Sports 2003-2005 was conducted with grand success imbibing in us all the true essence of sportsmanship and discipline and his outstanding contribution had groomed and grown LSA so much in spirit, ideals, prospects, and standards and what the association has accomplished today and how far it have come is the fruit of his unwavering efforts, it added.
LSA we will carry forth with pride, the ideals, the principles and the visions he had instilled in us and the course he had set for us for the generation to come, it said while adding that for his deeds we will grateful, his love and warmth will be etched in the hearts of many and his name will be immortalized in the history of LSA.
While extending most sincere condolences to the bereaved family, it also said that he will be remembered for his exceptional contribution towards LSA in particular and Liangmei community in general.
