Imphal, June 28 2016: All Manipur Bar Association (AMBA) held a condolence meeting today in connection with the sudden demise of Mongbijam Okendro Singh in its office premises located at Cheirap Court Complex, Imphal which was attended by S Imocha Singh, District & Sessions Judge, Imphal East, M Manojkumar Singh, District & Sessions Judge, Imphal West, Th Saimon Singh, Judge, NDPS, A Nouteneshwari Devi, CJM, Imphal East, Tonsing, CJM, Imphal West, N Lanleima, JMIC, Imphal East, Alex Muivah, JMIC, Imphal West- I and H Chandrajit Sharma, Sr advocate, president AMBA as presidium members. Mongbijam Okendro Singh passed away on June 25. The meeting observed a two-minute silence as a mark of respect and prayed for a peaceful sojourn of the de- parted soul. The members also shared the grief of the bereaved fam- ily. The meeting also resolved to suspend court work from 11 am today on general demand of the members, informed a statement issued by the general secretary of AMBA.
