1st District Governor's Advisory Committee meeting of Zone XVI held

The 1st District Governor's Advisory Committee meeting of Zone XVI was held today at Lions Service Centre, Sangaiprou under Region VIII of Lions Clubs International, District 322D.The meeting was attended by members of four Lions Clubs under the Zone viz, LC Imphal Valley, LC Imphal North, LC Imphal Northern Hemisphere, LC of Nambol, said a statement issued by Lion Dr N Romi Singh, Zone Chairperson, Zone-XVI Reg III, LCI Dist 322D .
Reports of the clubs for the 1st Quarter ending September 2020 were presented during the meeting, the statement said.
Lion W Gopimohon, PMJF VDG II, District 322D was the chief guest cum district observer of the function and delivered valuable district 'Lionistic' inputs to all the office bearers of Lions Clubs of the Zone present, it said.
Lion Dr N Romi Singh, Zone Chairperson, Zone-XVI, conducted the meeting with open discussions about the challenges and successes by each club and offered for possible help to the clubs in extending 'Lionistic' services to the society, it said.
Lion Th Kesho, MJF District Coordinator GLT; Lion W Bhaktaraj Singh, District Coordinator GLT; Lion Kh Ibomcha, Region Chairperson, Region VII Dist 322D also spoke on the topics "LLC and Leadership Support", "One Multiple One Activity and Permanent Projects" and "District Goals" respectively, the statement continued while adding that the meeting was ended with the members present singing the National Anthem.
In the meantime, Lions Club of Imphal Central planted 35 fruit bearing plant saplings at the office premises of the District Agricultural Officer, Imphal East at Porompat today.
The tree plantation programme was carried out under 'One District One Activity' project which has been continuing since September 5 and will continue till October 2, said a statement of Lions Club of Imphal Central.
Lion Thokchom Ranbir Singh (MJF), Zone chairperson of Zone-X of the Lions Clubs International, District 322D; president, secretary, treasurer and other Lion members of the Club attended the programme, it continued.
