GTV aims to deliver entitled rights of the beneficiaries: Biswajit

Government spokesperson Thongam Biswajit Singh said that the "Khungang Chatse: Go to the Village" mission is an ambitious one to ensure that the intended beneficiaries get their entitled rights.
Biswajit who is also the local MLA of Thongju AC was speaking to media persons at the Lilando Lampak, Thongju Part I today after inspecting the stalls opened there as part of the 5th phase of GTV Mission.
He said mat a Government is a continuous process and everyone including those who were in power and now in the Opposition Bench should support and encourage the initiatives taken up by the Government for the development of the State.

Biswajit, who also holds the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj portfolio said that the initiative is to check and ensure that the benefits of the pro-poor schemes of both the Central and the State Governments are delivered at the doorstep of the intended beneficiaries.
It may be mentioned that the Minister inspected camps set up by various Government Departments at Lilando Lampak, Thongju Part 1 under Thongju AC.
Altogether 25 stalls are opened.
The stalls include that of Labour, Revenue, Social Welfare, Health Directorate, Power, Education Department, Revenue Department, bank etc.
Services provided at the stalls include Aadhaar Seeding, birth certificate, pension schemes, SAUBHAGYA, Weaver card/Artisan card, etc.
Minister Biswajit also distributed cooking gas connection under the UJJALA scheme, Health card.
Local authorities also handed over Weaver Card to weavers of the area.
It may be mentioned that thousands of local beneficiaries thronged the stalls to enquire about the Government schemes.
