RPF claims bomb attacks at M-Sector, Yairipok, asks state forces to stay away

Imphal, September 25 2012: The proscribed Revolutionary People's Front (RPF) has claimed that the bomb attacks at M-Sector in Imphal and Bishnupur Khwairakpam Pump House today as well as the blast at Kamu Maring road at Yairipok on September 24 were carried out by the Special Warfare Group of its armed wing, PLA.

In a statement signed by its Chief of Department of Publicity Taohangshu Heiremcha, RPF alleged that Central security forces in the state have formed a base for killing surrendurees secretly inside the M Sector in the heart of Imphal city.

The bomb attack of PLA at the M Sector was aimed to make the people aware of the secret slaughterhouse inside M Sector.

It further alleged that Oinam Halloba alias Newson of Keibul Lamjao Chingmei Mayai Leikai, who was killed by Assam Rifles and later abandoned near Abulok River at Kangchup Mamang Leikai on September 19, was a person who had been in fact handed over to M Sector by his mother on September 7 for surrendering.

She handed him to Assam Rifles in the hope of ending frequent harassment of her son by the security personnel.

Many innocent lives who have retired from revolutionary organizations due to personal, family and health problems are becoming victims of the vicious nature of the Indian security forces.

In the wake of such extrajudicial killings, PLA has vowed to root out such places like M Sector which have become slaughterhouse of innocent lives by central security forces, the statement said.

Meanwhile, the Special Warfare Group of PLA has begun a special mission to find and root out secret agents of the central security forces searching for innocent lives to be handed over to them for some mere amounts, the statement informed.

RPF further claimed that the bomb attack on a patrol party of Manipur Police Commandos at Kamu Maring Road near Yairipok on September 24 was carried out by the Special Warfare Group PLA.

However, the bomb was not meant for the state security forces.

It was actually planted for the patrol party of Assam Rifles and it was planted about a week ago.

Unfortunately, Manipur Police Commandos entered the area and began to search for PLA cadres.

As the commandos were advancing PLA was forced to ward off the commandos by triggering the bomb via remote control.

The blast was aimed at avoid any injuries to the commando personnel as PLA doesn't believe in war against their own brothers.

If PLA wanted to attack the Commandos, they could have blasted at least one vehicle of the patrol party, it added.

The statement further said that personnel of the state forces might have been a bit of worry over frequent bomb attacks of PLA on central security forces.

But they should not worry about their lives as the war of PLA is not against them but against the colonial forces of the India government.

However, RPF urged the state forces to stay away from the war of PLA in order to avoid clash among brothers.

It also urged the state forces to think twice before helping the central security forces who are on a mission to make Manipur a land of widow and further added that killing the people of Manipur will not bring peace and prosperity in the society.
