Imphal, June 25 2022: Khagempalli Nambul Mapal Women Welfare Association (KNMWWA) has urged the authorities concerned to repair the Khagempalli road at the earliest.

KNMWWA in a statement said that Khagempalli road which is one of the major route of commute is in a pitiable condition for quite long leading to frequent road mishaps injuring a number of people.

The women body while expressing concern over the indifference attitude of the authorities concerned who has taken up no measures to repair the road, appealed to the authorities and department concerned to take up restoration work on an immediate basis for the safety of the public at large The women body also informed that meira paibi and local clubs along the road have resolved to close Khagempalli road from June 27 onwards if no restoration work is taken up.
