Imphal, April 23 2022: The Home Department in association with the Police Department, Govt of Manipur will be organising a seminar-cum-interactive workshop for public prosecutors and police officers on April 25 at City Convention Centre, Imphal East from 10 am to 5 pm.

As per a statement issued by K Meghachandra Singh, MPS, Superintendent of Police/NAB, the workshop will be inaugurated by Chief Minister N Biren Singh.

The workshop will comprise of sessions from a panel of eminent speakers composed of representatives from NCB, retired public prosecutors and the NAB team, the statement added.

Further, the workshop will cover topics that include seizure procedures related to narcotic drugs, chargesheet in criminal cases, case preparation, charge sheet under CrPC and other laws with reference to cases involving narcotics, crime against women and offences under NDPS Act and PIT NDPS Act, its process of investigation, trial, relevant provisions of Indian Evidence Act, rulings of Supreme Court and High Court on the subject matter and important Court rulings.
