Bishnupur, December 22 2024: Lions Club named Lions club of Bishnupur Greater, the 10th Lions club sponsored by Lions Club of Moirang under Lions Club International District 322D was opened today at Bishnupur Thiyam Leikai Community Hall organised by the Lions Club of Moirang.

The opening ceremony was attended by District Governor, District 322D, Lion Kh Kesho Singh PMJF, Installation officer Past District Governor, District 322D, Lion H Manikumar Singh MJF, Past District Governor, District 322D, Lion Prof W Gopimohon Singh PMJF, Past District Governor District, 322D, Lion M Gojendro Singh SCA, MJF and Lions Club of Moirang, president, Lion H Somikanta Singh as presidium members.

Speaking on the occasion, Y Modhu, District Chairman Heritage Lions Club of Moirang stated that the new Lions of Lions Club of Greater Bishnupur starting from today has stepped into the world of humanitarian service and will play a significant role in improving and strengthening the well being of the people.

During the event, new office bearers of the branch were also elected with Lion Sanatomba Thiyam being elected as the president, Lion Dhiren Thokchom as secretary and Lion Dr Ingocha Khundongbam as treasurer.
