Imphal, December 22 2019: The 3rd day of the National Seminar witnessed seventh session with RK Achouba Singh, retired Pradhan Guru, JNMDA and RK Nabindra Singh, Pradhan Guru where they presented paper on Lai Haraoba with demonstration, said a statement of JNMDA, Imphal today.

At the eighth session, N Tiken Singh, L Bedabati and Dr Makhonmani Mongshaba presented paper -"Problems and Prospects of Manipuri Folk Music with demonstration.

P Nabachandra Singh, retd Prof Manipur University, Canchipur Imphal chaired as moderator for both the session.

S Nodia Mangang, Dr L Kokngang and K Sanathoiba Sharma presented a paper on "Thang-Ta" with demonstration and RK Achouba Singh, Padmashri Awardee chaired as moderator of the ninth session.

In the last session of the seminar, Ph Iboton Singh, B Gopal Sharma and L Manglembi Devi shared a paper on Gostha Leela, Udhukhol and Gaura Leela with demonstration.

S Thanil Singh, Padmashri Awardee moderated the session.

About 250 persons including 10 from outside Manipur attended the seminar.

Various cultural programmes- Lai Haraoba, Khulang Eshei and Khongjom Parba were presented, said the statement of the JNMDA.
