AMSU bans HRC after detection of anomalies

Imphal, February 22 2015:
All Manipur Students' Union (AMSU) on Sunday banned Human Resource Development Centre (HRC), Nagamapal accusing the centre of anomalies while conducting tests for the award of 2nd State Level Scholarship Scheme-2015, Class III � IX .
Talking to the media persons at AMSU, Head Office, HRD Secretary Manjit Sarangthem said that thousands of students across the State had appeared for the Scholarship Scheme Exam held in different centres of Imphal and Thoubal Districts.
He alleged that HRC failed to maintain exam rules and regulations and instead caused confusion during the exam.
Manjit said AMSU detected the anomalies at the DM College exam centre after some students complained over non-allotment of seats and inadequate question papers distributed to candidates.
AMSU informed that similar issues were detected in other exam centres also.
In connection with the incident, AMSU has demand refund of the exam fees given by the students and asked HRC to clarify on the anomalies detected by February 24 .
