Imphal, November 20 2021: CM Health for All scheme was launched today in Chingkhu Sangbei area under the aegis of National Health Mission and Manipur Health Service.

The scheme was launched in the area at an event jointly organised by District Health Society, Imphal East and HWC Chingkhu Sangbei in the presence of Dr N Shyamjai Singh, state mission director NHM; Dr L Indira , CMO, Imphal East; Dr Y Premchand Singh, state nodal officer, NHM; S Hemanta, ward member, Chingkhu and N Rabei Singh, ward member, Sambei.

The purpose of the CM Health for All scheme is to conduct house to house screening of all people in order to detect health issues through ASHA Plus devices.

The scheme will be able to detect various health issues like hypertension, diabetes, heart disease, kidney ailments, respiratory diseases, common cancers like oral, breast and cervical, mental health problems, stroke/post stroke.
