Imphal, April 20 2022: A team of United Committee Manipur (UCM) led by its president Joychandra Konthoujam extended assistance to persons with disabilities.

The team visited the residence of the individuals and handed over wheelchairs as well as pensions provided by the Social Welfare Department were also made available to the persons with disabilities.

Joychandra Konthoujam said UCM will continue to extend all possible assistance to persons with disabilities in future too.

He also added that it was very unfortunate that such individuals are not getting the benefits meant for them under various schemes sponsored by the Centre and the State as well.
