Manipur Rural Bank branch opened

Manipur Rural Bank today opened its 22nd branch at Sangaiyumpham Nungphou Bazar.
MLA, Khangabok Kendra, O Suijakumar inaugurated the newly opened branch to the people.
Manipur Rural bank (MRB) was established in 1981 under the Regional Rural banks Act, 1976 with an aim to improve agricultural and economic condition of the state.
Central Govt, Manipur and United Bank of India have a sharing ratio of 50:15:35 respectively.
Pradhan, Sangaiyumpham Gram Panchayat Part I, Md Zakir, Pradhan Sangaiyumpham GP Part II, Ramida Begum along with Chairman, MRB, Dr Prasanna Kumar Bal attended the cer emony as important dignitaries.
Speaking at the opening of the new branch, O Surjak-umar said the newly opened branch will help not only people of Sangaiyumpham but the neighbouring villages also.
He further urged people to derive maximum benefit from the bank to improve agricultural and economic conditions and extend cooperation to make the branch flourishes.
