Imphal, June 19 2018: As part of humanitarian approach and social responsibilities, 109 Bn CRPF organized a free medical camp at Old Age Home, Makha Leikei, Mongsangei on yesterday on the 8th foundation day of Old Age Home.

During the campaign, around 20 senior citizens were treated and given free medicines.

The campaign was launched by Vinod Kumar Commandant, 109 Bn CRPF in the presence Of Somanath Maharana Second in Command, Alok Ranjan Dy-Commandant, at 109 Bn CRPF and Sanamacha Sharma, president, Old Age Home, Mongsangei.

More than 40 personnel of 109 Bn CRPF and senior citizens of Old Age Home, Mongsangei participated in the medical camp and cleaned the surrounding areas of the Home.

Speaking at the programme, Vinod Kumar, Commandant 109 Bn CRPF stated that it is the duty of all to take care of elderly and seek guidance from them as they have enough experience of life.

Sanamacha Sharma, president of the Home, Mongsangei lauded the Commandant, 109 Bn CRPF for his continued support for a long time and for conducting the free medical camp.
