State girl in NSUI National Committee

Imphal, December 17 2012:
For the first time in the history of National Students Union of India (NSUI), student wing of Indian National Congress, someone from Manipur has made it to the national committee.
Angellica Aribam was selected as a National Secretary after a tedious selection process.
After winning Delhi University elections, two rounds of interview were conducted.
The Interview Panel was headed by Mr.Rahul Gandhi (AICC Gen.Secy) and other panelist include Mr.Jitender Singh (MoS I/C Defence, Sports&Youth Affairs), Mr.Rajiv Satav (Youth Congress President), Mr.Rohit Chaudhary (NSUI National President) .
Angellica Aribam hails from Moidangpok village in Imphal west district.
She is the youngest daughter of Mr.Aribam Manisana Sharma and Aribam.Thoibi Devi.
Currently pursuing LL.B from Delhi University, she holds a B.Sc (Hons) Biochemistry degree from Delhi University itself.
She intends on touring the north-eastern states to redress the plight of students in these areas.
