Meritorious students, sports personalities, differently abled senior citizens feted

Bishnupur, July 16 2019: Yaipha Chaokhat Thourang Lup, Khoijuman, Oinam AC celebrated its first foundation day today felicitating achievers in various fields.

Meritorious students, sports personalities and differently abled senior citizens of areas under Ward No 1 to 5 of Khoijuman-Kwasiphai GP were feted at the event.

Soibam Yaiphaba, silver medallist in the 46kg category of the International Invitational Junior Boxing Tournament held at Hungary from June 11 to 15, was among the 10 sports personalities who were feted during the event.

A total of 32 students who have excelled in the Class X and XII examinations were also feted at the event.

31 differently abled senior citizen were provided blankets and honoured.

The function organised at Khoijuman Maning Leikai Community Hall was attended by Nachou Zilla Parishad Member Thiyam Dilip Meitei, Khoijuman Kwasiphai Gram Panchayat Up-Pradhan Ngangom Tomba Singh and Ward Members Kh Sanamacha Singh, Soibam Santa Singh, Ingudam Dhana Devi, Kh Guni Devi, Khondram Tampha Devi, Huirem Sanjana Devi and Ahongshangbam Manithoibi Devi as presidium members.
