Sahitya Seva Samiti Kakching, Manipur observes 55th Foundation Day

Kakching, January 15 2022: Sahitya Seva Samiti Kakching, Manipur on Saturday observed its 55th Foundation Day at the Auditorium of Library & Information Centre, Kakching in Kakching Phousupat Leiokai.

It was attended by DM University, Vice Chancellor Professor Nongmaithem Rajmohon; Sahitya Seva Samiti Kakching, Manipur president Yengkhom Kengba; and Sahitya Academy New Delhi, Manipuri Language Advisory Board convenor, Nongmaithem Kirankumar as presidium members.

As part of the programme, the dignitaries also handed over the annual literary awards of Sahitya Seva Samiti Kakching, Manipur.

Budha Chingtham, Imphal was conferred the 'Yambem Mani Sahitya Mana 2021' for his book 'Mukyetnaba Drama Mari (4)'; 'Chingkhu Moirangleima Ningshing Kabidas Mana' to Okendro Khundongbam, Heirok for 'Ee Teiraba Thabal'; 'Yendrembam Surlata Purskar' to L Birmangol, Tripura for 'Ushil'; 'Ksh Chaoba Translation Award' to Naorem Bidyashadar, Cachar for 'Angouba Chithi Khao'; 'Ksh Nalini Sahitya Mana' to Moirangthem Sobita, Binakandi Part-1, Cachar for 'Thamoisu Marol Lolli' .
