Imphal, December 14 2020: The 6th anniversary of Pole Star Theatre was held today at the community hall of Kwakeithel Mayai Koibi Mamang Leikai.

MP of Lok Sabha Dr RK Ranjan, Thokchom Sunilkumar, vice chairman of Pole Star Theatre.

Dr A Kholchandra, secretary of Critics Forum Manipur and Changangei Zilla Parishad Member Sinam Marjit attended as the presidium members in today's event.

Speaking as the chief guest Dr RK Ranjan said that the renowned teachers and pioneers of Nat Sankirtan and other performing arts have formed the base of Pole Star Theatre and added that it is a proud moment that the folk songs, theatre and other forms of performing arts of the State are able to hold a significant place in today's world.

He further urged the current generation to safeguard and protect the indigenous art forms in this era of digitisation by imbibing the useful knowledge from these art forms.
