Imphal, March 14 2015 :
Human Rights Defender Manipur (HRDM) held a discussion session on the utility of HSRP today at Manipur Press Club.
The session was attended by former HRDM member RK Rajendro and Joy Chingakham as the chief guest and president respectively.
Advocate Khaidem Mani also attended the session as moderator while Lieutenant Colonel Hemo, Advocate Ch Narendra and AMWJU vice president Ratan Luwang were the resource persons of the session.
On the lack of tracking device in high security registration plates, Ratan Luwang opined that the HSRP which are being forced on the people are completely unserviceable.
It is, he said, a mean for the State to amass money from the people.
