Imphal, January 14 2025: Leading up to its 32nd foundation on February 12, the All Manipur United Clubs' Organisation (AMUCO) organised a free eye camp cum distribution of spectacles at Samurou Keithel under Wangoi AC in Imphal West.

As per a press release, the free eye camp was held in collaboration with Energetic Youth Development Organisation (EYDO), Samurou Keithel and Samurou Keithel Meira Lup.

The event was attended by Pheiroijam Nando Luwang, president, AMUCO; MM Thambou, vice-president and Momocha Takhellambam, secretary finance, Lokuma Chsam, organisation secretary and Maibam Premjit, executive member.

Altogether 350 people were treated at the camp and free spectacles were distributed to those who needed it.

Separately, the New Development Organisation (NDOS) and Shija Eye Care Foundation, Shija Hospitals jointly conducted a free eye screening and cataract surgery camp at Sinagjamei Oinam Thingel.

The camp was held under the supervision of Oinam Romen Singh, member, Pradesh Congress Committee.

A total of 110 underwent eye-check ups and received free medicines at the camp.

Oinam Ibochouba, secretary, NDOS was also present at the camp.
