Imphal, August 13 2022: Raksha Bandhan was celebrated by Prajapita Brahma Kumari Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya in Moreh by tying the sacred Rakhi to the troops of Moreh Battalion of Assam Rifles on August 11.On the occasion, the Brahma Kumaris gave the blessing for security & prosperity to all the troops of Assam Rifles, said a statement of IGAR(S).

Mantripukhri Battalion under the aegis of IGAR (South) also celebrated Raksha Bandhan at Imphal West District on August 11.The festival was celebrated at Assam Rifles post in Chingmeirong, Singjamei and Sawombung to strengthen the bond and commitment with the local populace.

Moreover, on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan Keithelmanbi Battalion interacted with the wife of Late Rfn/GD B Sani and provided financial assistance through voluntary contribution of all ranks in Imphal West district.
