Pangal Students Organisation expresses concern

Imphal, November 12 2021: Expressing concern on the unfortunate turn of events in connection with the ongoing dispute at Lilong Chingkham in Thoubal district, the Pangal Students Organisation (PSO), Manipur has urged the Government to intervene into the matter and solve it at the earliest.

PSO in a press release has stated that the State Government's measures to build a Police Out Post on the said disputed land has led to the current issue which has created an atmosphere of animosity among the different communities residing in the area.

Hence in view of the above scenario, the student body has urged the authorities concerned to revoke the plan of constructing the Police Out Post and to help in restoring peace in the area.
