Imphal, February 12 2025: Safer Internet Day was successfully observed in Imphal East on February 11, 2025, through a collaborative effort between the District Administration of Imphal East and NIC Imphal East The event held at the DC office complex was attended by all District Level Officers of Imphal East.

The programme focused on raising awareness about online safety and responsible internet usage.

Usham Sanjota Chanu, a speaker invited from NIELIT delivered a comprehensive presentation covering the advantages and disadvantages of the internet, potential online risks, and strategies for staying safe online.

The event aimed to empower citizens with the knowledge and skills to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.
