Kangpokpi welcomes ILPS, lauds Central Govt

Kangpokpi, December 11 2019:
Autonomous District Council Sadar Hills and local civil bodies of Kangpokpi including Kangpokpi Town Committee, Kangpokpi Women Welfare Organization and Kangpokpi Youth Union have welcomed the announcement of introducing Inner Line Permit System in Manipur, during a simple function held at the Conference Hall, SH-ADC Kangpokpi, today.
The event organized by Autonomous District Council Sadar Hills also appreciated and hailed the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister, Amit Shah and Chief Minister N Biren Singh for the announcement of ILP System in the State.
The programme was attended by Haokholal Hangshing, Chairman ADC Sadar Hills, Thangjakam Misao, Vice Chairman ADC Sadar Hills, all Councillors including Executive Members and Members, Chief Executive Officer SHADC, Staffs and employees of ADC Sadar Hills.
KTC Chairman Lunseh Kipgen, KWWO president Hekim Hangshing and KYU president, Haolet Khongsai also attended the programme.
Haokholal Hangshing, Chairman ADC Sadar Hills said that even if official gazette notification of implementation of ILPS in the State is yet to be issued, we are very much happy when the Union Home Minister Amit Shah made an announcement of extending ILPS in Manipur on the floor of Lok Sabha.
He continued that the BJP Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister N Biren Singh has immensely benefited the poor people of the State and a country as a whole.
He also said that every scheme and project of the BJP Government aimed at uplifting the poorer section of the society.
The decision to extend ILPS in Manipur is a big and bold decision of the BJP led Government, he added.
Thangjakam Misao, Vice Chairman ADC Sadar Hills and Lunthang Haokip, Member ADC Sadar Hills also spoke on the occasion.
The attendees also shouted slogans such as "Welcome ILP", "Long Live Prime Minister Narendra Modi", "Long Live Union Home Minister Amit Shah", "Long Live Chief Minister N Biren Singh" .
