Imphal, April 11 2020: On the occasion of the Athoubasinggi Numit (martyrs' day), the proscribed RPF has offered revolutionary salute to all those combatants who have laid down their lives in the course of the National liberation movement.

The outfit, through a press release issued by its Secretary Publicity Roben Khuman, also paid homage to all those civilians killed or maimed on account of atrocities committed by adversary forces.

All the communities of Manipur have been observing Athoubasinggi Numit on April 13 every year in memory of all those revolutionaries who sacrificed their lives for the cause of the people's liberation movement, it said.

Highlighting the prevailing situation, the outfit appealed to all the people to observe Athouba-singgi Numit and pay homage to the martyrs at their own homes or nearby memorial tombs this year.
