Prof Pandey inspects work progress of 105th ISC

Imphal, March 11 2018: Professor Adya Prasad Pandey, Vice-Chancellor of Manipur University along with a team of Deans, local organising secretaries, officials and other concerned staff of the university inspected the massive undertakings including construction of inaugural pandal, Pride Of India (POI) expo site, science exhibition sites, helipad, food courts, etc for the upcoming 105th Indian Science Congress to be held at the university premises.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the five-day long event on March 16 .

It may be noted that Manipur University is hosting such a mega event for the first time ever in its history.

The theme of this year's congress is "Reaching the Unreached Through Science and Technology." Three Nobel Laureates, many renowned scientists, eminent scholars, delegates and speakers will participate in this prestigious scientific event of the country.

After inspecting the sites, the Vice-Chancellor expressed his satisfaction on the pace of work being carried out.
