One-day Naturopathy-Yoga Camp conducted

Kakching, February 11 2025: A one-day "Naturopathy-Yoga Camp" was held today organised jointly by Surya Foundation - New Delhi, International Naturopathy Organisation (INO) - New Delhi, National Institute of Naturopathy (NIN) Pune, Kha Manipur Yoga and Nature Cure Association and Southern Manipur Rural Technology Service Institute (SMART) Kakching in collaboration with Ministry of Ayush, Govt of India.

As part of the event, a health check up and Blood Sugar/Diabetes detection programme was also conducted.

Later, an awareness session on benefits of Naturopathy and Yoga was held.

The event was attended by Senior Citizens Forum Kakching, president, Ex-Minister Nongmaithem Nimai, Kha Manipur Yoga and Nature Cure Association (KHAMYNCA) Kakching, chief functionary secretary.

Dr Mayanglambam Rajkumar and Senior Citizens Forum Kakching, secretary and former chairperson of Kakching Municipal Council, Kshetrimayum Kulahari as presidium members.

At the programme, Dr M Nishan Singh highlighted the issues faced by senior citizens while Dr Naorem Ambrabati Devi stressed on the importance of Yoga and Naturopathy in reducing stress and Dr Y Rajesh highlighted the benefits of Geriatic Care as resource persons.
