Print Summit 2024 held

Imphal, November 10 2024: All Manipur Printing Technologists Association (AMPTA) organised Print Summit 2024 at Sangai Hall, Hotel Imphal today on the theme, "Future for printing & packaging industry".

It was attended by Dr Polem Lenin, Joint Secretary, Trade, Commerce & Industries, Manipur; Prof Akham Joykumar, Chairman, BOSEM and Prof Ch Ibohal Meeteim Director, Research & Development Cell, Manipur University as presidium members.

Speaking on the occasion, Print Summit 2024 convenor Senjam Surjit expressed his concern over the possible delay in printing textbooks for the upcoming academic session due to the ongoing conflict which has severely affected vehicular movements along the National Highways.

Suijit appealed to authorities concerned to take necessary steps to ensure smooth & hurdle-free movement of goods carriers along the National Highways.

Prof Akham Joykumar asserted that everyone should acknowledge the contributions of people working in the printing sector.

Later, the gathering observed two minutes of silence to pay respect to the brave heroes who gave their lives in the ongoing conflict.

A souvenir of AMPTA was also released.
