Imphal, November 09 2019: In the wake of the growing uneasiness in the State due to "Naga Peace Accord", a sit in was staged today at All Manipur Sports Association Complex at Mapal Kangjeibung.

The sit-in which extended solidarity to the decisions taken by COCOMI and pledged to uphold the State's territorial integrity was participated by members of four sports bodies namely, All Manipur Sports Association, Athletic Association of Manipur, All Manipur Volleyball Association and All Manipur Football Association besides shop owners and shopkeepers of the area adjacent to AMSA Complex.

AMUCO president, Nando Luwang who attended the sit-in also highlighted the possible fall out of the peace accord and urged everyone to remain vigilant and united.

Slogans like " Long live Manipur", "Manipur's territorial integrity is uncompromisable" and "We stand firm for Manipur" were raised during the sit-in.
