Thoubal, April 09 2019: Only BJP Government can safeguard the unity and identity of the people of the State, claimed Chief Minister N Biren Singh today amidst voices against the CAB promised in the BJP's manifesto.

He was speaking at the campaign for Dr RK Ranjan at Charangpat High School Ground organised by BJP Wangkhem Unit and BJP Wangkhem Mandal.

Manipur's integrity and identity of the people are safe under the BJP led Government in the Centre and the State, said Biren and claimed that BJP's win the elections and its return to power in the Centre are keys to keeping the identity of the people of the State safe.

Narendra Modi and Amit Shah led BJP is committed to protecting the people of the North-East who are different in culture and tradition from the rest of Indian mainland, he said.

Highlighting the achievement of the BJP led Government, he mentioned the 'success' of UJJWALA and Go To Village, Go To Hills Missions and CMHT.

He also talked about the Ayushman Bharat scheme and other key projects and schemes of the BJP.
