IPAK celebrates Foundation Day

Imphal, September 08 2023: Indigenous People's Association of Kangleipak (IPAK) celebrated its 10th Foundation Day on September 7 .

The function was attended by Ksh Somorendro, president IPAK; Sapamcha Jadumani, founder president IPAK & president Federation of Haomee; Tourangbam Beerjit, president IPSA and Yumnamcha Dilip, president PANDAM as presidium members, said a release issued by IPAK.

At the event, Ksh Somorendro elaborated on the issue of illegal immigrants and implementation of NRC in Manipur.

He shared that IPAK will pressure the Government to revoke "The Manipur Inner Line Permit (Amendment) Guideline 2022" and draft/implement more feasible guidelines.

He further appealed to the State Government to make a concerted effort to end the conflict and restore peace & normalcy in Manipur.
