Imphal, September 08 2021: Head Mistress of Waikhom Leikai Upper Primary School, Ningombam Romabati has been conferred with the Shiksha Samman Award 2021 presented by the Rotary Club of Imphal.

The award was presented to Ningombam Romabati by the members of the Rotary Club of Imphal in a simple ceremony held at the hall of the school today.

The award included a memento, citation, shawl and cash prize.

Speaking on the occasion, N Romabati thanked the Rotary Club for acknowledging the efforts taken up by the school to guide and lead the upcoming young students towards the right path.

She continued that she has been able to receive such an honour owing to the support provided by the teachers of the school, parents of the students and the residents nearby the school.
