TBG-125 celebration concludes

Ukhrul, April 08 2024: The five day Tangkhul Baptist Gospel Quasquicentennial and the Quinquennial Fellowship (TBG125) celebration organized by Tangkhul Baptist Churches Association (TBCA) hosted by Ukhrul town Baptist Churches under TBCA concluded today at the District Headquarters ground Wino Bazar, Ukhrul.

The closing ceremony witnessed numerous participants of eminent world Baptist leaders including Tangkhul church leaders.

The One Grace, USA and Guy Penrod Band led the worship of services.

Rev Dr Elijah Brown, General Secretary, Baptist World Alliance in his greeting lauded TBCA for hosting the grand Baptist celebration of attainment of 125 years of Tangkhul Christianity and termed it as a historic moment.

'We must thank the Almighty for His wonderful blessings upon our people', he said.

Wung Hira presented a special musical performance during the service.

Meanwhile Rev Soprang Machiri, vice president TBCA in his closing remark, expressed gratitude to all, churches, groups and others who have extended tireless support in form of kind, physical, moral and those individuals who took part in different events in order to make the celebration a grand and meaningful event filled with shower of blessings.

The programme ended with a pronouncement of prayer from Rev Dr Mathotmi Vasha, executive secretary TBCA.
