Thoubal, February 08 2025: A 30-day workshop cum production on "The benefits of Thang-Ta for women" wrapped up at Tangjeng Ningthou Flower's School, Thoubal today.

The workshop cum production was organised by the Cultural Research and Training Institute (CRTI) under the aegis of Cultural Function and Production Grant Scheme (CFPGS) Ministry of Culture, Government of India.

The closing function was attended by Padamashri K Sanathoiba Sharma, Director, Huyen Lallong Manipur Thang-Ta Cultural Association, Irilbung as the chief guest; Ningthoujam Bishwogit, Headmaster, Tangjeng Ningthou Flower's School as the functional president and Leishangthem Sanatombi Devi, Head Assistant Professor, Waikhom Mani Girls College as the guest of honour.

The dignitaries distributed certificates to the participants.

On the other hand, the workshop cum production trainees showcased Thang Ahum Yannaba, Thang Chungoi Yannaba, Ta Khoushaba, Thang Leiteng Haiba and Sari Thinnaba before the gathering.
