Tengnoupal, February 08 2019: A team of 3 members from Nepal Embassy, Delhi led by Counsellor Prakash Adhikari have inspected the resident of Nepali women who were rescued from recent trafficking and are now staying in Centre for Development Activities, Moreh, today.

The inspection tour was accompanied by Om Kumar Bhandari (Secondary Secretary, Nepal Embassy, New Delhi); Sunil Chettri (Local Secretary Nepal Embassy, New Delhi) and Romibala of Social Welfare Department.

During the tour, the Counsellor convened a meeting with Moreh Additional SP, K Robinsun and SDPO IPS, Sandip Gopal Das.

The Counsellor expressed desire for the Nepali women staying in Moreh to be brought to Imphal and later thanked the administrators of the "Home", where the Nepali women reside, for keeping the women in a clean and hygienic environment.

The Home also gave their assurance to the visiting team to initiate repartriation process for the rescued victims at the earliest.
