5th edition of InQuiztive held

Chandel, October 07 2024: The 5th edition of InQuiztive (All Chandel Inter-School Competition) organised by Wisecrabs in collaboration with Assam Rifles was held at the Multi Purpose Hall of DC Office Complex, Chandel on October 4 .

The annual event which started in 2018 was graced by Col Abhimanyu Singh, Commandant, 21 AR and Mayanglambam Rajkumar, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Chandel as chief guests with Shivanand Surve, IPS, SP, Chandel, as the guest of honour.

The opening ceremony saw a beautiful choreography performance by the students of St.

Theresa Kids Care Foundation and students from Little Pearls School, Chakpikarong, regaled the audience with a song in the Closing ceremony.

Over 470 students representing 14 schools from all over Chandel participated in the event.

Various competitions were held during the event including quiz competition, debate competition, drawing competition, poem recitation, spelling bee competition and elocution contest.

The spelling bee competition was divided into three categories: Class III and IV; Class V and VI and Class VII and VIII.

Meanwhile the drawing competition was divided into Nursery and KG and Class I and II categories.

Additionally, the poem recitation contest was held for Class I and Class II students.

Assam Rifles Public School, Pallel, were awarded the Best Disciplined School during the closing ceremony.

Notably, Ts Chamna Anal MPS (Addl SP), Sneh Lata Mishra, Meghna, Bd Maria Assistant Professor, United College, Lambung, Sweety Roel, Assistant Professor, South East Manipur College, Kapaam, Major Anupam (21 AR), Kiran, teacher, JNV Chandel also graced the event as guests and judges.

The event aimed at fostering creativity, critical thinking and holistic development as students engaged in a wide range of competitions.

The activities provided an excellent platform for young minds to express their talents and build confidence.

The event received widespread appreciation from educators and community leaders.
