Bishnupur, December 06 2021: To ensure smooth conduct of the forthcoming State Assembly Election in all six assembly constituencies of the district, District Election Office, Bishnupur on Monday convened its seventh round of meeting at Conference Hall, DC Complex in Bishnupur.

The meeting was chaired by Election Officer Bishnupur, Ejaj Hassan in the presence of ADC Bishnupur, H Bobby Sharma and SP Bishnupur, Hopson Sapam.

All the EROs and District Nodal Officers also attended the meeting.

The meeting specifically deliberated on various issues concerning digitization of electoral rolls, postal ballot arrangement, identification of 'women only' polling stations, intensified SVEEP plan, illicit liquor drive, model code of conduct, security force deployment plan, training of polling personnel, vehicle management among other issues.

During the meet, all EROs and Nodal Officers also updated the Election Officer on the status of poll preparedness under their respective management.
