Bus service to resume along Imphal-Ukhrul road

Imphal, October 06 2013: In due consideration of the problems being faced by the people, All Manipur Bus Owners' Federation (AMBOF) has decided to suspend its agitation of stopping service along Impha-Ukhrul road temporarily with effect from October 8 .

Announcing this in a statement, Vice President of AMBOF B Dhanabir Sharma said that the decision of resuming bus service along Imphal-Ukhrul road from October 8 was taken in due consideration of the difficulties being faced by the people and after holding several rounds of discussion at the level of MLAs from Ukhrul and Special Secretary Transport.

Dhanabir also appealed to all the civil society organisations in Ukhrul and Imphal to help the Federation in ensuring resuming normal bus service along the said route.
