Verdict on Hopeson deferred yet again

Imphal, March 05 2014 :
For the fifth time, pronouncement of the final verdict on Hopeson Ningshen, a S/S Lt Col of NSCN (IM), for his involvement in the sensational triple murder of Dr Thingnam Kishan, the then SDO of Khasom Khullen and his two sub-ordinate staffs, namely Revenue Mandal Yumnam Token and Driver Aribam Rajen Sharma after being abducted from Ukhrul district headquarters, has been postponed.
CBI Special Judge V.K.Gupta on Wednesday once again fixed March 24 for pronouncement of the judgment.
This is the fifth time that the judgment in the case has been postponed.
For the first time, the CBI Special Court fixed January 18 as the date for pronouncement of the final verdict.
But it was postponed to January 25.From January 25, the final verdict was postponed to February 15, only to be deferred again till March 5, that is, today.
In the sitting of the CBI Special court today, Judge V.K.Gupta again rescheduled the date for pronouncement of the final verdict till March 24 .
