Imphal, December 03 2017: The proscribed RPF has claimed that the attack against troops of 31 AR, D Coy which took place at a place between Lukhan and Aishi village in Kamjong district at around 3.30 am yesterday was carried out by the PLA's Tactical Command .

A press release issued by the outfit's Assistant Publicity Secretary Bankim said that the attack was a continuation of the attacks carried out by the PLA against Indian military forces at Maha Mani village, Chandel district on November 13 and Sajik Tampak on November 15 .

It also claimed that some AR personnel were injured in yesterday's attack .

Meanwhile, the PLA's Chief of Army Staff has hailed all those who planned and carried out the attack as well as those who provided logistic support, it conveyed .

The ongoing united liberation struggle is a clear indication that the Government of India's alleged divide and rule policy would never succeed on the soil of Manipur, it added.
