Blast at ADC office decried

Imphal, June 03 2011: Describing it as a barbaric act, All Manipur Autonomous District Council Employees' Association (AMADCEA) has strongly condemned the bomb attack in the office compound of ADC at Khuman Lampak on May 28 that left three persons injured and caused damage to the office properties.

In a statement, secretary of information and publicity AMADCEA Dr John Meigai has appealed agaist repeating such barbaric act in the future by any organisations or individuals in public places.

Kuki Women's Union (KWU), Manipur has also strongly condemned the bomb blast at the ADC office complex and termed it as an act of terrorism.

In a statement, KWU president Rose Mangshi Haokip has appealed to the State Government to extend the required financial assistance to the three victims who sustained injuries in the blast till their recovery as well as to all concerned not to repeat such act of terrorism in the future.
