UPF/KRA-U merges with KNO/KRA-U

Kangpokpi, February 03 2017: In a programme held yesterday at KNO/KRA general headquarters in Saikul subdivision, Kangpokpi, UPF/ KRA-U declared merger with KNO/KRA-U .

The programme was also attended by KNO/KRA-U chairman Lamkhopao alias Papao Chongloi, Andy Vaiphei, army chief, KRA along with the members of UPF/KRA-U led by its so-called C-in-C Paolen Chongloi alias Robinson Thadou.

Robinson Thadou handed over documents related to UPF/KRA-U and files to KNO/KRA-U chairman Lamkhopao in the presence of KRA army chief Andy Vaiphei as a mark of amalgamation.

Robinson Thadou said, "In the larger interest of Kuki community and Kuki Revolutionary Army (Unification) in particular, I along with my cadres have decided to merge with KNO/KRA-U.UPF/ KRA-U is henceforth annulled.

He also said that following the merger, no activities in the name of UPF/KRA-U should be entertain by the general public.
