Senapati, February 02 2016: Manipur Commission for Protection of Child Rights (MCPCR), Chairperson, Sarat Kr Sharma along with SDPO Hemant Pandey; Bobby Singh, Consultant, MCPCR; AS Robinson, DSWO; Spt Chingpai Rangnamei, DCPO; Manikho K Poji, CPO; Dr Komuha, Jajuo, CWC; Raina, JJB; A Montu Singh, convenor, MACR; Robertson RK, MACR; K Pradip, CRY fellow and other members visited the orphan- age home - Compassion Children Ministries (CCM) after the conclusion of an awareness program on Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act 2012 & Juvenile Justice (Care and protection of children) Act 2016 yesterday, our cor- respondent reports.

CCM which was registered under JJ Act is the biggest orphanage home in Senapati district.

According to CCM President, Robin Raomai Heni, the team visited the home and interacted with the two juvenile boys who were re- cently rescued by the Nagaland Child Protection Officer and other children.

The Chairperson also inspected the self- supporting dairy and vegetable farms of the home.

The managing committee, staff and inmates of CCM expressed heartfelt gratitude to the visiting team for appreciating their works.
