Cleanliness drive by CRPF continues

Around 100 personnel of 109 Bn CRPF deployed at Raj Bhavan today conducted a cleanliness drive in and around Raj Bhavan near temporary Ima Market in front of Manipur State Museum and along Governor road up to Nityaipat Chuthek.
The drive was carried out under the supervision of Alok Ranjan DC (Ops) Raj Bhavan .
Under "Swachhata Hi Sewa" campaign, troops of 143 Bn, CRPF, Lamphelpat organised a social service in the area of Yaipha Leikai near Election Office at Lamphelpat, Imphal West.
During the camp, troops of the Battalion along with members of Lamphel Yaipha Leikai Apunba Nupi lup cleaned the area, removed garbage and sprayed pesticide to make the environment clean and healthy to prevent potent diseases .

Lal Chand Yadav, Commandant, Awadhesh Kumar, 2-I/C(Ops), M Hazra, D Comdt and SM Vidhya Pradeep of 143 Bn, CRPF took part in the social service .
86 Bn, CRPF, Lamphelpat also conducted a cleanliness drive in and around RIMS under the aegis of Vikram Sehgal, IGP, Manipur & Nagaland Sector .
Narendra Singh, Officiating Commandant of the Battalion along with the officers, Jawans and officials of RIMS participated in the drive .
As part of the Nation-wide campaign, the Battalion had conducted cleanliness drives at KV-2 and surrounding areas at Lamphelpat.
Further, the Battalion in coordination with the officials of Nursing College, RIMS also cleaned the surrounding areas of the college by removing redundant bushes, debris and garbage lying along the roadside and premises.
