SEACO pays tributes

The 7th Observation Day of Cultural Revivalists was held today at Panthoibi Shanglen, Luwangshangbam Makha Leikai under the aegis of the South East Asia Cultural Organisation (SEACO).
The observance programme held to commemorate revivalists of Sanamahi religion who were punished years ago by the then Brahma Sabha was presided by SEACO president Nongthombam Govardhan Mangang in the presence of Langthabal AC MLA Karam Shyam as a special guest.
SEACO's advisors, Akham Langol and Longjamba Sanathoi Piba; Apunba Keithel Sinnaibi Lup Kangleipak's president, Khamnam Sobhapati and secretary of Luwang Leimarel Leishem Lup-Luwangshangbam Makha Leikai, Phijam Ongbi Sushilla also attended the observance as presidium members.
As a part of the programme, the special guest led in offering floral tribute to late revivalists.
Gifts were also presented to elders who have been actively engaged in activities to revive Sanamahi religion.
