Chandel, July 31 2024: Assam Rifles in collaboration with the District Health Society, Chandel, organized an immunization drive at Sehlon village.

This initiative aims to provide essential vaccinations to the local population, ensuring the health and well-being of the community, said a statement by the Assam Rifles.

During the immunization drive, vaccines for various preventable diseases were administered ensuring that children and adults received necessary medical care.

The effort is part of a broader initiative to improve public health infrastructure and outreach in remote and peripheral areas.

A total of 102 people including 28 children were benefited from the initiative.

The villagers were encouraged to participate in the drive and take advantage of the medical service provided, added the statement by the Assam Rifles.
