Imphal, January 29 2013:
Naga militant groups namely NSCN-IM, NSCN (Kitovi and Khole) and FGN have decided to stay away from the election to Nagaland State Assembly.
According to UNC president L Adani, the Naga Concordant formed by NSCN-IM, NSCN (Kitovi and Khole) and FGN have decided to stay away from the Nagaland polls.
The collective decision of the three armed groups have been already conveyed to the people of Nagaland.
Even though NPF is an ardent supporter of the Indo-Naga peace process, there is no necessity to support NPF in the Nagaland State Assembly election, Adani said.

NPF Manipur unit was set up to fight for the Indo-Naga peace process in the context of Manipur.
For UNC too, there is no question of involving itself in the Nagaland Legislative Assembly election either directly or indirectly, Adani added.
