Imphal, February 22 2016: Shopkeepers of Paona Keithel kept their shops closed today in protest against the Government's notification which prohibited parking vehicles along Paona Keithel road.

The notification which was issued a few days back severely affected daily business of the shopkeepers, said a source.

Traffic Control Unit of Imphal West District Police and City Police were seen evacuating vehicles parked along Paona Keithel road every now and then.

But they raised no objection to vending goods on footpath and one-way movement of vehicles from North to South.
