Single day positive cases drop to just 3

Imphal, February 20 2021: Only 3 persons tested positive for COVID-19 while 4 recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours.

With this, the total number of Covid positive cases has reached 29,233 with 84 active cases.

With zero deaths reported in the last 24 hours, the death toll due to coronavirus remains at 373 .

So far, 28,776 persons have recovered from the disease and the recovery rate now stands at 98.43 percent.

Meanwhile, the three fresh cases were detected at Covid testing facilities at Raj Medicity (2) and Shija Hospital (1) .

The three, all civilians, including two males and one female hail from Bishnupur (1) and Senapati district (2), said a report of the COVID-19 Common Control Room, issued by Additional Director (Health) Dr Khoirom Sasheekumar Mangang.

The cumulative number of Covid positive cases is 29,233 including 25,801 civilians and 3,432 Central security personnel.

The total number of recovered cases is 28,776 including 25,359 civilians and 3,417 Central security personnel.

The number of active cases is 84 including 73 civilians and 11 Central security personnel, said the report.

Meanwhile, 1630 frontline workers have vaccinated today taking the total number of vaccinated people to 40118 including 29318 healthcare workers.
